A Versatile Basic Recipe – Cheesecake Cream
A dollop of this gorgeous cheesecake like ‘cream’ garnish transforms a fruit-based dessert or snack.
Try it with fresh or poached fruits or serve it with a Pavlova Nest or small square of sponge cake piled with fruits.
1&1/2 Tablespoons (30g) is a 1/4 serve of dairy
It’s also wonderful as a toast topper with fresh fruit.
Ingredients
250gm Low fat Cottage Cheese
Sweetener to taste (I use Equal, but any intense sweetener or small amounts of sugars will work)
Method
Blend to a smooth consistency and add the sweetener to taste.
Serve with fruit alone or on top of a piece of toast for a snack or for a special dessert use it to top a small of square sponge cake or meringue nest.
